Fit 24 Yuen Long

Pros:

The gym is located near Kolor mall, which is right in the centre of the action in Yuen Long. However, Fit 24 was never too crowded for a good workout. There were many empty machines to work out on. If you like compound movements, there is a bench, a squat rack and a smith machine for use. The gym is on the ground floor, so deadlifting on the ground is fine!

There is a standard-sized boxing ring next to the windows which people use to stretch most of the time. There are a lot of cardio machines right in front of the window next to the door as well. This allows a variety of exercises and workouts to spice things up!

Good features of Fit 24 gyms!

Cons:

A minor flaw is that their toilets are constantly stinky and not in pristine condition. However, we think this is a minor issue as we spend most times working out.

Another flaw would be on their deadlift bar. There were not many bars to choose from but this is a problem for more advanced gym-goers. Their deadlift bar were too spiky and it was very painful to deadlift even with straps as a powerlifter.

Personal Experience at Fit 24 Yuen Long

The Staff in Fit 24 are usually very willing to help. While attempting PRs, the personal trainer came over to hype us up and was supportive throughout. It is quite impressive that the equipment were always clean and sparkly. It shows that the gym cares about their equipment!

Personal trainers were not hawking for new clients. They were very chill and it was not stressful to experiment with equipment.

We do see a lot of local people joining Fit 24 and most people speak Cantonese. There were not a lot of Caucasian or ethnic faces in the Yuen Long branch. We also see people working out in Yeezy, which made us realize most clientele were beginners.

Final Thought

For people who wish to have a more introverted experience, Fit 24 is perfect for you. It has all the most basic equipment you will need. The price point was very reasonable as well! It is possible to opt for a no-prepayment membership, which means you do not have to pay lump sum. This is a great practice! However, there might be other personal factors that make you dislike Fit 24. So we suggest always trying the gym out before committing. Happy Lifting!
