Usually people have different criterias for a gym. People want a gym to be huge with all the equipment they need. But in Hong Kong, you can only find that in huge chains like Pure Fitness and have to pay over $1k a month for that. However, established in 2018, Go24 is challenging the gym scene in Hong Kong! We walked in with very little expectations and came out a member. Here is our honest review!

Strength and Conditioning
- What do they have?
- Dumbbells
- Bench
- Squat Rack
- Deadlift platform (shock proof)
- Non-judgement plates – all the plates look the same
- Tons of Isolation machine
Their strength and conditioning zone is huge. You can see rows of dumbells that go up to 65 kg. We found 4 squat racks, 4 deadlift/olympic lifting platforms, and 2 individual benches in the Yuen Long Go24. We were immediately impressed by the different isolation machines they have. They have at least 2 lat pulldown machines. We saw that they have machines that would target every muscle in the body – a bodybuilder’s dream.
Stretching
Go24 has a spaces for people to stretch, do warm ups and cool downs. Mats are available for members. If you feel like doing a big stretching session, you can grab their foam rollers and blocks as well.
Cardio
We were surprised to find a ski machine in this gym! Each gym has a huge cardio section for cardio bunnies with different cardio machines! There are rowing machines, treadmills, stairmaster, stationary bikes and more! You can hop on a different machine everyday if you want to! There is distance between machines so you can work out in peace too.
Cleanliness of Go24
There were many towels and cleaning supplies lying around. Members do clean up their machines after use and it made the environment felt very well-maintained. So please also wipe down equipment after use! The toilets and showers are also very clean. The whole gym was bright, airy and clean which made me feel very comfortable to work out there.
Others
We do appreciate a well-stocked gym. Go24 has free water refill for their members and if you needed a quick bite, they have a vending machine as well. Their aesthetics felt very American and you can see girls taking pictures of themselves from time to time.
Cons of Go24
As it is an amazing gym, it is also a popular one. There might be a need to wait for machines, especially those that target the abs. For some people it might be an issue. But there are many girls wearing leggings and just a sports bra to work out.
Final Thoughts
We understand that other commercial gyms charge around 500-600 for a month and Go24’s membership is higher than the rest. However, if you look for gyms with state-of-art equipment, Go24 is leading in the industry. They seem committed to provide an enjoyable gyming environment for members and we cannot recommend them enough!
